Updates

Changelog

Public notes for visible DejaVu updates. This page focuses on user-facing changes that affect traders directly, not private source details or internal infrastructure work.

June 2026 - Website content and review update

Added public guides for trading safety, scan interpretation, duplicate database labels, report quality and frequently asked questions. Cleaned old internal readme files from the public website package so the live site only contains user-facing content.

June 2026 - Premium Lite and Premium

Added clearer Premium Lite and Premium information, including free scan limits, Lite scan limits and Premium Intelligence positioning. The goal was to make the difference between the three tiers obvious before someone commits to a purchase, instead of leaving pricing pages vague.

June 2026 - Scan Activity

Improved public scan activity cards and live-status presentation on the website, so visitors can see that the checker is actively processing scans rather than sitting idle.

June 2026 - Reports

Improved report handling copy so users can submit duplicate reports or wrong-result reports with better context. This reduces back-and-forth with reviewers and speeds up how quickly new evidence reaches the database.

Earlier - Discord bot and core scanner

Before the website reached its current state, DejaVu started as a Discord-only bot with a basic scan command and a small local database of known duplicate-risk items. The web-based checker, Premium system, report pipeline and public guides were all built on top of that original bot.

Planned next

Upcoming work includes an OG Finder tool for checking account and name history, and a moderation dashboard for the team to manage reports and Premium access without editing code directly. These will be added to this changelog as they go live, not before.
